Aquatic Class List

Join New World Fitness and our variety of aquatic related class activities.  Whether it’s group exercise Classes, Interval Training, hydro rider sessions, or Aquatic Therapy we have something for everyone.  

Water-Based Classes

This 50 minute Aquatic therapy Class is taught by Nationally Certified instructors.  Exercises are of a therapeutic Nature and are performed in a warm temperature controlled pool.  Classes focus on improving physical function associated with illness, injury or disability; to help ease pain and stiffness in joints and muscles as well as to increase active range of motion and promote healing.

 

Participants benefit from the buoyancy of the water, reducing an individuals weight by 50%, and providing resistance from the water with every movement.

This water exercise class is for people looking for a light, low impact, joint-friendly workout. You will improve core strength, endurance, range of motion, flexibility and balance. All levels are welcome.  Gentle movement is a great class for those looking to ease into physical activity or for individuals managing a chronic health condition as it follows a gentler pace.

AquaFIT is an upbeat class designed for those looking to improve their overall fitness.  The class consists of a cardio-respiratory component to elevate heart rate and work all major muscle groups.  Equipment is used to strengthen the muscles.  This class includes some higher impact exercises, but can be modified for anyone.  

AquaHIIT is designed for those looking for a challenge in an aquatic workout.  This class uses interval training, which is a combination of high intensity exercise followed by short, sometimes active recovery periods.  The Goal is to challenge the body for greater calorie burn during and after exercise.  Exercises designed to push the cardio-respiratory system are used as well as strengthening exercises to challenge the muscles. 

Take The Plunge

Swimming is an excellent way to get the exercise you need while having fun.  It tones the entire body while providing an excellent cardiovascular workout.  It strengthens your heart muscle while improving the delivery of oxygen to the muscles of the body.

Enrolling in New World Fitness’s Swim Lesson Program will not only help you maintain a healthy lifestyle, and learn a new skill, but it can be a way to socialize and hopefully help you to develop a love for the aquatic world.

Our way of life

Measuring 65′ x15′, the pool at New World Fitness, is a warm water (approx. 86 degrees) shallow water pool (4′ deep) and is available to all members while providing the safety of a National Certified Lifeguard at all times of operation.
